FAQ
What is the installation process?
- The local user (the Windows user id that will ultimately use SA Audit) must have
temporary admin rights, and this user id must be used to perform the entire installation
process.
- Install the Palm Desktop software provided with your device and perform a hotsync.
- Download and install the installation package
(if your computer already has the TechniClean software installed, skip this step).
- Download and install the update.
- Obtain a key and unlock SA Audit by using a confirmation code, or contacting support.
- Download the license file.
- Remove temporary admin rights from the local user and restart your computer.
Why can't I hotsync my palm with SA Audit?
- Ensure the Palm is fully charged.
- Check that the USB cable is securely attached to the Palm and PC.
- Reset the palm by clicking the reset button on the back.
- If the Palm SA Audit program was not updated after a PC update, there may be a software
conflict between the two devices. If you have no audits to retrieve, load
the palm program from SA Audit to the palm in question. If you have audits
you would like to save, try a hotsync on another PC or contact
support.
